***Giveaway closed.***
I'm getting this posted a little later than I wanted to, but my daughter got sick this week (throwing up two-year-olds make me sad), and I've been having some serious low back pain so I've been working in bed all day yesterday and today. (Thank goodness for helpful husbands who are willing to clean up puke so I don't have to get up.)
Anyway, on to the giveaway. I have a couple fat quarters up for grabs. I'm getting tired of this blah winter weather so I pulled some fat quarters that are very sunshiny. (I haven't even been up long enough to take pictures, so you'll have to go off these images from the designer/fabric shop listings.
First up, a fat quarter of Nicey Jane Picnic Bouquet in Gold:
Next up is a fat quarter of this Modern Meadow print:
Thirdly is a Vera's Garden Vintage Pillowcase Spring fat quarter. (I don't have a picture of this one as I couldn't find anything online - remember the laid up in bed part? It's making me too lazy to take a photo.)
I'm also probably going to throw in a fat quarter of Anna Maria Horner's Little Folks Voile (Dobby) in Saffron and maybe a few other little things since I'm lame about no giveaway photos and my late posting.
To enter, simply leave a comment on this post. If you want, you can tell me some random fact about yourself, point out a great tutorial you like, or just say hi.
Here's a random fact about me: I have extra long ligaments attaching my toes to my feet so I can fold my toes over and walk on the tops of them. I know, it sounds gross, but I'm actually pretty proud of this quirky talent of mine.
You have a week to enter the giveaway. I'll pick a winner next Friday night/Saturday morning (Jan 28/29).
Oh, and please please please make sure I have a way to contact you!

I have moved 10 times in the last 10 years and still counting due to our family's Army life. I love it dearly though:)
Pretty selection up for grabs. Hope things get better in your "world."
What a lovely giveaway. . so much needed with the weather that I have right now. I might have to pull out something like this for this weekend. I think I was 197 follower of yours. So excited to see what comes next.
Some of my toes are double jointed - and I can snap them. Creeps out my husband.
A little random comment here........I think that my natural talent and true calling in life was to be a concert pianist. Oh well, I will just be a sewing mom that is a teacher :)
Yay! A giveaway. I could use a little something . . .
Hmm. I don't know if I can beat your extra long ligaments, but I can do this flippy-lip thing where I sound like a helecoptor. I can even play William Tell's Overature on my lips. Yeah, I know. Weird.
Oh, I hope you're all doing better! Here's my random fact. I'm going through the first season of That Girl on DVD. I remember watching it on TV Land when I was a teenager. The clothes were so cute back then!
I can fold my tongue into a three leaf clover shape :)
I hope everyone is feeling better soon in your house.
I have one blue eye and one that's half blue and half brown. My husband always says that if I'd been born a few centuries ago, I'd have been burned as a witch... Not sure how to take that...
I can always tell when there is rain coming because I get a nice big headache!
Hope you are feeling better!
Ack! I have no freaky talents to share. I just quilt... a lot. Thanks for the giveaway. I hope you all feel better soon.
Hello! A random fact about me? I can move my tonsils - which happen to also be huge. Every time I see a new dentist the gasp when they look in my mouth and see 2 golf ball sized tonsils... haha ewww right?
What a great giveaway! I was just thinking I want to make a quilt in these colors. Random fact...I can bend my left hand index finger all the way back and touch the back of my hand...grosses people out. ;)
Thanks for the giveaway!
Just found your blog through GenX Quilters....have it bookmarked in my favorites!
My three teen daughters are finally showing an interest in sewing!! Our oldest made headbands for all of the girls in the family for Christmas and also made pillowcases for her best friends!
Dad bought the girls their own sewing machine for Christmas and we're hoping to finish up a corner of our basement for a sewing nook.
Can't wait to check out your blog!
Thanks!

My hip bones are in the socket wrong, so I can turn my legs almost completely backward.
And I'm anticipating a puking five year old tonight. So I know your pain. :(
I am an editor by day, so I never read books for fun. And I definitely never read fiction books--just blogs and magazines!
Thanks for the fun giveaway, Brooke!
A fun fact abut me: I sew in my kitchen even though I have a perfectly large enough craft room- I prefer the natural light over the holed up room. Boo.
200+ followers! Awesome!
A random (not very interesting, but random) fact about me is that I can't snap. I've tried, and I've had multiple people attempt to teach me, but I just can't do it!

Congrats on learning so much about quilting in so short a time. I am new to quilting myself and am surprised to see how welcoming and encouraging the quilting community is.
Thanks Brooke for an easy giveaway...no jumping through hoops to be in it! Fact about me..I've just indulged in a delicious pudding in a cup...espresso coffee with 3 teaspoons of thick whipped cream on top...spot my weakness!!
Weird fact about me: double jointed elbows. . . ask me to raise my arm next time you'll see weirdness oozing out of my arms.
Hope the kiddo gets better soon!!!
It's so sad when little ones are sick, I remember feeling so helpless, just wanting to make them happy again. Just make sure you don't catch it.
Yippee Skippee for you Brooke!!! Congrats on over 200 followers!!! I like to wear Christmas socks all year, it is quirky but it keeps me happy :)

Hmmm... not so interesting fact: I plan on wearing my PJs/ sweats all day today. Well, until shortly before 6pm when I have an office party to go to. :) I am pretty sure my husband is doing the same thing!
I am loving your blog, it is one of my faves to read.
Sorry your boy is sick, that is so miserable :( I hope he's better soon, and you too!

Interesting fact... Since I've been married, we've only moved twice in 13 years. When I consider how often I moved before then, it feels like a miracle.

Hi, first off, hope you and the bub are feeling better!!
Random fact about moi, I thrive off change and chaos from moving so much as a kid. So, now that I bought my own house I end up having to move my furniture around every few months so things feel a bit 'fresh.' Good thing my husband plays along with it!!
Congrats on reaching the 200 milestone!!
I can't think of anything to say about myself!:)except that I am in Oakley Idaho at my sister's house and it's windy cold here! Thanks for the chance to win some good stuff from you!

Random fact about me... I sew (and read sewing blogs/flickr) obsessively to try to not think obsessively about other things... and I sew late into the night often. By the time I do go to bed I'm out!
That's so interesting about your feet! I would love to see a photo but I doubt I will. :) I'm hypermobile but that just means that my ankles roll sometimes when I'm walking. At least they rarely sprain. Thanks for the giveaway and I hope your poppet feels better soon. Mine coughed and coughed last night. No puking, though.
Wow, that's a talent I cannot top. =)
I have never been in a plane...even though I'm over 30! I don't know when I'll ever go anywhere...but so far, the only places I've been were in a car! =(
Thanks for a lovely giveaway!
You have my sympathies with a sick 2-year-old. I had my 2-yr-old grandson on Friday night and he started doing the same thing, thank goodness I can call his parents to take him home ;o)
Thanks for the giveaway, terri in bc
I love yellow! I was just thinking I would do a yellow quilt for my mom. These would be perfect. Random fact? Your foot comment reminded me that I am double jointed in my thumbs. I can bend it backwards in a very unpretty sorta way.
Love the bright colors!!!! It is so what I need at this time... By the way I Love you & we need to plan another quit night.
Ali

Happy 200+!
Weird fact: I wash every doorknob and light switch plate in my house EVERY day, but a sticky mess on the floor really doesn't bother me. Ick.
Hmmm, random fact about me. The hubs and I love to travel, and he likes "exotic" destinations, way off the beaten path. So two places I have been are Tibet and the Galapagos Islands.
