He chose orange for the backing and I love how it pops! (He looks a little grumpy in this photo, but he didn't know I was getting his face in the shot.)
This is the largest quilt that I've stippled. I'm sure many of you have moved beyond stippling, but I've found this way of free motion quilting difficult to master, so I've been trying to practice it on several quilts lately.
I really love how this quilt turned out. My only regret is that I didn't finish it in the winter so we could have gotten more use out of it before the weather got too warm.

Oh it's wonderful! Love the Lizzy House.
It looks great! And excellent backing choice :)
Yay! Worth the wait, I'd say. :)
What a great finish! The orange back is a great choice. Stippling is definitely more difficult than loopy quilting. Good to get in some practice!
Oh this was totally worth the wait!!! Love it to pieces, one luck Mister (with excellent taste in quilt back color) for sure!!
It looks so great Brooke!!
It looks great!
Beautiful quilt. I love the colour choices. Just pinned it to my patchwork Pinterest board.
WOW, what a quilt! My MisterStitches only helps on photo shoots when he is totally behind the quilt! I, too, have trouble mastering stippling, so I do almost any other free motion quilting design! But I guess I should practice stippling more on the quilts I make.
